Install Windows 8 and Problem Faced

Windows 8 Consumer Preview is available to download since last week. I refuse to install Windows 8 Consumer Preview on my laptop at first, this is because my laptop easy to overheat, therefore I scare my laptop will burn after install this new Windows. Finally I decided to install it to my laptop because I really want to test Windows 8 Consumer Preview.

Firstly, I don't want install Windows 8 on top of my Windows 7, so I go search about dual boot of Windows 7 and Windows 8 Consumer Preview. So far I found this website really helpful on my installation of Windows 8.

When I making partition, I faced a problem about 'available shrinking space' is not enough for Windows 8, but I have more than enough space in my HDD. There are few reasons will occur 'available shrinking space' problem. I guess my HDD didn't defrag properly so only can found less space to shrink. Therefore, I go defrag my HDD using Windows 7 built-in software - Disk Defragmenter, but I give cross(X) to it - it's not really work. I search for solution online again, and I found there are few third party software which is quite good and they are free. You have to find the software which can defrag during booting, and smart enough to consolidated the free space. What I found it work for me is Smart Defrag 2 and PerfectDisk. Time for defrag is a bit long, but worth to wait.

This is what I finish defrag, white color box mean free space.
Better don't leave any free space in between the files. If so, defrag again.
Besides this problem I faced, I accidentally made my disk become dynamic disk. I found that one HDD only  can have maximum 4 partitions. In order to convert the dynamic disk to basic disk, first way is use the built-in software in Windows 7, but you have to back-up all your thing, delete the volume, then only can convert to basic disk. Besides this solution, you also can use third party software to convert dynamic disk to basic disk without back-up your thing (not 100% secure), and the software I use is EASEUS Partition Master.

Here still got a link to teach you how to install Windows 8 Consumer Preview.

Internet Explorer 10
Few things I tried on Windows 8 Consumer Preview, which is Internet Explorer 10, Messengers, Mail, Maps, Music and so on. Not really know how to give review, IE 10 is better than I expected, everything is nais. :)
