Recently, I watched some interesting movies which maybe I won't watch if not recommended to me. I want to say something about these movies. Here the two movies, "Inside Job" and "Freakonomics".
Inside Job is all about the economic crisis that happened on 2008. Inflation, unemployment, and so much words that I learned from the subject - Economics last trimester came out from this documentary-movie. Well, this movie interview so much Professors, Ministers, Economists to talk about causes and effects. From this movie, you will able to see that, economic crisis doesn't influence some of the people who interview from this movie. Most of us headache about economic crisis, but some of them, they can earn through this situation, why?! That's the purpose of this movie released. You will never know that how much they can earn and how the dark side of economic crisis, because we never know, inside the job, there have another job.
"Freakonomics", not so formal as the movie "Inside job". It's all about the questions you never doubt before, it's not so specific but you just never think. Do you ever think what name that you want to give to your children? Do you know name will influence the life of the people? That's how powerful your name.
Cheating - Pure Corruption. Every sports will have some cheats inside, and they went to Japan to investigate Sumo wrestling. On Japan side, Sumo wrestling is pure and there are no cheat at all, but according to the record of the score, they found out a situation "YAOCHO" which is the situation of they will always win when reach certain score. Amazing?! Is it a cheat or fate? God knows.
Crime problem not really reduce by crack market, gun control, strong economy, more police but because of Roe V. Wade. He is the person that "legalize" abortion, means you can abort your baby if you want. This claim increase the cases of abortion, woman have right to choose to abort their babies if they think they cannot give a wonderful life for them in the future. Consequently, it's reduce crimes. Data showed almost half of the crime decrease is because of this "legalize" abortion, but by my side, I don't think abortion is a right way to do it. We have no right to give up a life and we have no right to decide other people life. If you plan to abort your baby when you are pregnant, then why don't use condom when having sex? In addition, parents should be learn how to teach their children, because they have the responsible to give birth to them, give them knowledge, and give them a happy and secure life. That's my opinion.
How incentive work? They did a experiment called "Can A 9th Grader Be Bribed to Succeed?". Easy, they give money to the 9th Graders if they are improve on their academic. Many students not because they are stupid, but they just think that what the purpose I go for study? That's why incentive take place on this. Once the children know you will get something after you do something, then they will do it. The experiment showed 2 guys and end up with 1 guy succeeded and another failed. I think incentive is needed when children's study, not to make them become more greedy, but build the easy way for them to gain knowledge.
Don't stop asking questions, maybe the questions will help you and other in the future.
Uimo, I like these two movies very much because they talk about things you'd never expect in normal life and that I call interesting. Unlike other piece of **** movies that just want to make money with all those "stars" doing dumb stuff.
